Learning they say is a continuous process and as you go on in life, you need to unlearn and relearn certain things which is why every platform of learning and every opportunity to learn new things should be embraced always!
Literacy education is a process by which one’s knowledge, reading and writing is being expanded in order to develop one’s thinking and learning for the purpose of understanding oneself and the world.
This process however, is fundamental to achieving competence in every educational subject. Since literacy is a necessary foundation for educational achievement and it has not always been legal for black people to be literate in the Americas, an understanding of historical approaches to literacy education for black children can elucidate larger relationships between individuals, communities, and the world.
In an effort to ensure children’s success and ability to be self-determined in a largely literate society, approaches to literacy education have included multilingual, multicultural, and multimedia resources as well as the need for book club as this will enhance all learning processes and required skills needed to be gotten.
Clearly, our economy is enhanced when learners have higher literacy levels as effective literacy skills open the doors to more educational and employment opportunities so that people are able to pull themselves out of poverty and severe underemployment.
In our complex rising and rapid change in the technological world, it is important that individuals continuously expand their knowledge and learn new skills in order to keep up with the pace of change.
