Luke 19:37 And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen;19:38 Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.19:39 And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples.19:40 And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.19:41 And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it,19:42 Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.19:43 For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side,19:44 And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.*
Message
God is the creator of times and seasons, as there are natural times and seasons on the earth so also we have seasons in the spirit realm.
Times and seasons are for a purpose, times and seasons have a lot to do with events.
*Ecclesiastes 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven*
So God does not do anything without obeying the laws of times and seasons. In *Genesis 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.* God named the seasons and times so that from that time everything we do is regulated by times and seasons, the bible testified concerning the sons of Issachar…. It was said that they had an understanding of the times and what Isreal ought to do.
Having a proper understanding of the times and seasons will help you prepare, help you to know what action to take.
Times and seasons can be classified into two major categories
1) The natural seasons
2) Spiritual seasons
These two seasons are controlled by God the creator of all things. The natural man is very familiar with the natural seasons because we have fully mastered our natural senses with which we have used to study them.
But when we come face to face with the spiritual seasons we have problems, this is because the spiritual seasons can only be announced or heralded by God himself, unlike the natural seasons they are not controlled by the natural elements like sun, moon or the stars.
If every spiritual season is announced by God then there is a need for us to always listen to what God is saying to us, we must be attentive to the voice of the holy spirit. God does not do things anyhow, he is a God of order, plan and purpose, he is a God of perfect timing. God will not send the rain when it is time for the sun to shine except only when he chooses to change the order of things by his providence, he is God and no one can question him, Joshua asked the sun to stand still and in the time of king Hezekiah God asked the shadows to go back seven times. God does not gate crash, before he visits you he will tell you and get you prepared for his coming.
God always likes to carry man along because you have a part to play in whatever God does, if man is not ready God will not move or he will move past you or move unto another.
If you fail to understand Gods season for your life you will miss Gods plan and purpose for you. The five foolish virgins missed Gods timing because they did ñot carry extra oil, don’t be foolish seek to know what season of your life you are in now, seek to know what God is saying, missing Gods season can be very catastrophic. Blind Bartimeaus was a blind man, blind but smart, when he heard about Jesus he knew that it was now or never. Missing the season can make you miss out on Gods blessing for your life. The widow of zeraphath did not wait to debate Elisha’s audersity to make such a selfish demand but quickly keyed into the season and entered into her harvest and her life and her sons life was preserved. My prayer for you is that as we get ready to enter into a new month, you will not miss your season of visitation…..to be continued…

1. O lord please by your mercy quicken my spirit so I can receive from your spirit at this time in Jesus name.
2. My father, please open the eyes of my understanding so I can discern the season of my life now in Jesus name
3. Holy spirit please lighten my eyes, don’t allow me to sink into the river of slumber but empower me to wait upon you in prayer in Jesus name
4. Every power working tirelessly to make me miss my season of visitation, I terminate you by fire in Jesus name.
5. O lord, please help me so I will not miss out on your plans and purpose for my life in Jesus name.
