Big Brother Naija ‘shine ya eyes’ finalist, Chichi has reportedly filed an N100 million lawsuit over her co-star, Phyna.
According to reports, Chichi is demanding 100 million as damages for Phyna’s defamatory statement against her.
Kemi Filani reported that during the BBNaija Reunion, Phyna had during a heated argument accused Chichi of abandoning her husband and children in Benin City, which led to the death of one of her children.
She also alleged that Chichi had used her dead parents as a strategy to win the show.
Phyna had also age-shamed her as she claimed Chichi is 33, as well as called her a stripper.
To add to it, Phyna had also alleged that Chichi poisoned her friend in Cyprus due to jealousy.
Phyna made the new allegation in a series of posts on her Snapchat.
Now reacting to it, Chichi through her lawyers has pressed charges against her.
Her lawyers stated that the allegations of Chichi poisoning her friend in Cyprus is untrue, full of lies, malicious, and slanderous.
In the lawsuit, her lawyers added that Phyna’s statement has cost Chichi several endorsements deal and has put a taint on her image.
Phyna slams Multi-Choice over issue with Chichi
Recall that in self-defense after getting dragged for her altercation with Chichi, Phyna said her outburst was a clap back.
She accused the organizers of BBNaija of setting a trap for her. According to Phyna, Multi-Choice had edited most of the videos showing the moments her colleagues hauled insults at her.
Phyna condemned the show for airing only her parts to push despicable narratives against her.
