Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, has expressed readiness to work against the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on both local and national issues affecting the country.
Fani-Kayode, who recently dumped the PDP for the All Progressives Congress, APC, made the assertion via a post on his verified Facebook page.
The former Nigerian minister, however, noted that he is happy with his new party, stressing that he has been formally registered as a member of the party.
The post reads:
A few days ago, I had the honor and privilege of receiving Alhaji Umaru Sanda, Chairman FCT Registration Committee of the APC, Alhaji Gambo Zakeri Babale, AMAC Secretary of the APC and Engineer Usman Adaji the FCT Publicity Secretary of the APC in my Abuja home and I formally registered with the party.

The registration number of my party card is FCT/ABUJAM/06 58401.
I have been received with so much love and affection by the leadership of the party and party members in AMAC and the FCT and I have no regrets about my decision: I am proud to be where I am.
I look forward to playing a key role in the battle that lies ahead at the local, zonal and national levels with the PDP. Glory be to God!
Fani-Kayode, after dumping the PDP, was presented to President Muhammadu Buhari by the Chairman, Caretaker Committee of the APC and governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The former minister, known for his inconsistent stance on public issues, added that he joined the APC to help for the unity of the country, saying he was against anything that would cause the disintegration of Nigeria.
Fani-Kayode added that he was led by God in his decision.
