The Federal Government has extended the gradual easing of the COVID-19 lockdown across the country by two additional weeks.
This was disclosed by the Chairman of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19, Boss Mustapha, who also doubles as the Secretary of the Government of the Federation. He made the disclosure earlier today during the daily media briefing of the task force in Abuja.
What This Means
Based on the development, the imposed nationwide curfew from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. shall remain in place. Also schools, places of worship and business centres will remain closed. The ban on interstate travel will also be in place for the next weeks.
