Mixed reactions have trailed the comment of the senior pastor of the House of Rock Church, Pastor Paul Adefarasin, urging Nigerians to move on.
This is coming following Nigerians’ anticipation of the presidential tribunal verdict on the February 25th election which will be delivered on Wednesday, September 6th.
Recall that INEC had declared APC’s Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as the winner of the presidential election after he garnered the most votes from the electoral process.
However, his emergence was challenged by presidential candidates of the opposition parties, Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi.
Adefarasin, in a clip from his sermon to his congregation, urged people to move on from the past and focus on the future.
Reacting to this, Users of the X platform knocked the clergyman for his “unsolicited advice.”

@David Hundeyin said”Dear base character for the pastor in King of Boys, I promise nobody asked you.
Plus your family doesn’t even live in Nigeria, so of course, it’s very easy for you to urge people to “move on” because you have no skin in the game, you corrupt flaming asshole.
@originalucdivine said “Dear Nigerians, if you think that moving on is the best option, just know that you will continue moving on until all of us are dead.
@firstladyship said ” Paul Adefarasin’s family are abroad, he has nothing to lose! Paul is one of those Devil’s Advocates used by the Establishment to keep Nigerian Christians docile, & in check.
Rebuke Satan, & he’ll depart from you!
Do not listen to his lies & false teachings, because Paul has no fear of God in him. In the coming days, they will activate religious & traditional leaders to beg you to move on. Pastor Paul Adefarasin of “The House On The Rock” already opened the floodgates.
@novieverest said” “Pastor” Paul Adefarasin said Nigerians should accept illegality and move on.
Well, with tithes and offerings, corruption does not affect him. He is comfortable and swimming in the terrible era.
@adokwuandy said ” Paul Adefarasin like 90% of Nigeria’s religious leaders are fraud and nothing but agents of darkness from the pit of hell.
We will never move on from the 25th February 2023 elections till the president is returned and justice is done
God will punish you and your useless generation
@sirdavidbent said”You can’t tell me it’s a coincidence that Paul Adefarasin is preaching about moving on. Expect more admonitions/calls from the pulpit from the likes of Adeboye & Kumuyi after the judgement is passed tomorrow. The problem I have with religious leaders in this country is that they brainwash their members, whilst enjoying the benefits of good governance in developed nations. They mentally cage Nigerians to always accept the status quo and Paul Adefarasin doesn’t fail to turn up with his Saul, David and Samuel analogies.
