Immediate-past governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje has emerged the new National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC)
Also, the spokesperson for the ninth Senate, Senator Ajibola Basiru has been appointed as the party’s National Secretary.

The appointments were announced during the APC National Executive Council (NEC) meeting which held on Thursday at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja.

President Bola Tinubu was in attendance at the meeting.
Other attendees include Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello; former governor of Osun State and former chairman of APC, Chief Bisi Akande and the acting National Chairman of the party, Senator Abubakar Kyari.
