Nollywood actress and influencer Eniola Badmus has bagged a new name following her appointment with the president-elect of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Eniola Badmus shades haters online with banging photos of herself. She accompanied them with her new Yoruba name, “Ebudola”, roughly translated as insult turned to blessing.
“EBUDOLA ………My new name” Eniola Badmus wrote on Instagram.
A few days ago, a list surfaced online claiming actress Eniola Badmus will be chairing the entertainment committee for Tinubu’s wearing in. The list includes names of top entertainment stars such as Toyin Abraham, Seyi Law, Saheed Balogun and others as members of the group.
This is not a surprise to many because Eniola Badmus had been an ardent supporter of Bola Tinubu before and during the February 2023 presidential election.
Against all trolls and backlash, Eniola Badmus held fast to her support for the former All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain and Lagos state governor.
Netizens query Eniola Badmus for snubbing Davido’s concert
Recall that Eniola Badmus was queried online following her arrival to Nigeria hours after Davido’s Timeless Concert.
The controversial actress shared a video of her arrival into the country with a cheering and appreciating caption. The one-time bursty actress acknowledged the acceptance of her UK fans.
She wrote, “Thank you, London, for having me…….Back to reality. Home way!!! Naija, we don show ooo.”
Many took to Eniola Badmus’ timeline to query her for snubbing Davido’s concert, while others claimed she arrived the same day as the president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
This post trailed the moment Eniola Badmus silently attended the United Kingdom concert of her former bestie, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido.
Unlike the previous year, when Eniola Badmus rocked her social media page with updates on her arrival in the UK and her movement towards the singer’s concert.
Eniola Badmus also shared moments she had with the singer, his siblings and Chioma behind the stage before his OO2 Arena concert in 2022.
The now curvy actress quietly attended Davido’s TIMELESS concert without updating her fans. Although she shared videos of the concert on her Instagram story.
The shared video was a slight confirmation that all is not well between the singer and the actress.
