Chelsea FC has named former midfielder and coach Frank Lampard as interim boss until the conclusion of the season.
Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali, the club’s owners, said on Thursday that they were “delighted to welcome Frank back to Stamford Bridge,” just days after Graham Potter was fired.

Recall that the former Chelsea and England player was in charge of the Blues from July 2019 until January 2021, when he was succeeded by Thomas Tuchel.
Chelsea are 11th in the Premier League and drew 0-0 with Liverpool on Tuesday, with Lampard, 44, in present at Stamford Bridge.
