Kamaru Usman lost the welterweight championship to Leon Edwards over five rounds at UFC 286 in London.
The British boxer won by unanimous decision, with the judges scoring it 48-46, 48-46, and 47-47 in his favor.
Edwards thwarted most of Usman’s takedown attempts and delivered the fight’s cleanest shots.
He was rewarded for punishing Usman with a series of leg kicks, slowing the ‘Nigerian Nightmare’.

Usman marched forward in his typical suffocating style, but that march became more of a hobble the longer he was sliced up.
Edwards had a point deducted during the third round for holding onto the cage, but still managed to come out on top in the huge clash.
