Kamaru Usman lost the welterweight championship to Leon Edwards over five rounds at UFC 286 in London.
The British boxer won by unanimous decision, with the judges scoring it 48-46, 48-46, and 47-47 in his favor.
Edwards thwarted most of Usman’s takedown attempts and delivered the fight’s cleanest shots.
He was rewarded for punishing Usman with a series of leg kicks, slowing the ‘Nigerian Nightmare’.
