A video of thugs warning voters in Fadeyi, Lagos State, not to leave their homes if they won’t vote for the ruling APC party in the governorship elections, has been shared online.
In a video, the thugs are seen walking together in an otherwise empty street while making their threats.
“If you no vote APC, no come outside o,” they warned.
Another video shows a group of thugs threatening electorates to vote for APC or go home at the Isolo, Oshodi area of Lagos state.
Twitter user @Msmenalicious who shared the video online, also stated that INEC staff have arrived at her polling units for the election.
This is the latest threat to voters coming from thugs supporting APC, after a disturbing threat from MC Oluomo who reportedly warned Igbos to stay at home if they will not vote for APC.
The Nigerian Police Force Spokesperson, Adejobi Olumuyiwa, later said Oluomo’s threat should be taken as a joke.
