Actress Funke Akindele’s ex-husband, Abdulrasheed Bello, otherwise known as JJC Skillz, has spoken amidst rumors of his marriage with an Ebira lady.
JJC Skillz shared a photo of himself online celebrating Jumaat Mubarak, with a caption admonishing and praying for his fans.
“Allah does not burden a soul beyond what it can bare. In his favor shall be whatever good he does and against him whatever evil he does. O Allah, Condemn us not if we forget or miss the mark. Lay not on us such a burden as those who lived before us! O Allah, Impose not on us that which we have no strength to bear! Pardon us, absolve us and have mercy on us. You are our Protector and give us victory against people who deny the truth Amin. Jumaat Mubarak,” JJC Skillz shared on Instagram.
JJC Skillz allegedly got married to an Ebira woman, identified as Falilat Raji.
Reports claimed that the private wedding was held on the 10th of February, 2023, in Kano state, and had only family and friends in attendance.
Also, a wedding invitation surfaced online. The invitation had the singer’s name and that of his reported new wife on it.
Amidst the speculations, Kemi Filani reached out to JJC Skillz on Wednesday night, March 1st but he laughed off the reports.
Following those, photos that emerged online claimed the entertainment star got married to the said lady.
JJC Skillz announced his separation from Funke Akindele over irreconcilable differences.
“Dear friends and family I need to let you know that Funke and I have separated. While it lasted we shared a lot of things together and have created 2 beautiful children.
The last two years have been extremely difficult. The last two years have been extremely difficult for us.
I know I have tried my best to fix things, but I believe it is beyond repair now. 3 months ago and at Funke’s insistence.
I moved out of the house and, apart from AMVCA, have not been able to get Funke to sit down in an amicable matter to discuss the future of our relationship.
I’m making this announcement, so the public knows we are both pursuing separate lives.
We still have issues that need to be addressed, such as custody and wellbeing of our children, which is paramount, as well as business interest which needs to be disentangled, but I have no doubt that these will be resolved one way or the other”.
