Festus Keyamo, a senior advocate of Nigeria and minister of state for labor, claims that President Muhammadu Buhari made a mistake by sticking to his original position of forbidding the use of the N500 and N1000 notes notwithstanding the Supreme Court’s ex parte ruling.
Despite the President’s good intentions for Nigeria and Nigerians, he may not have been well-advised, he claimed.
This was expressed by Keyamo on Friday during his appearance as a guest on 2023 Verdict on Channels Television.
“My view is that the president acted with honesty, without intention to slight the Supreme Court but he may have acted on wrong advice. I did not give that advice.
