Money flowers were included on Friday’s list of naira misuse practices by the Central Bank of Nigeria. The apex bank announced this in a flyer that was uploaded on its Twitter account and that highlighted several ways to abuse the naira.
Along the money gifting, the CBN also lists spraying, selling, squeezing, and defacing as other abuses.
“It is your civic obligation to defend the naira,” the CBN captioned the image, urging residents to report instances of naira misuse. Today, report naira abuse. Additionally, it offered toll-free hotlines via which such acts may be reported to the apex bank.
