148 people are still missing after a train in Kogi State crashed in a forest. On Sunday, the event occurred when the train was running along the rail line between Warri and Itakpe.
No one was killed, according to the Nigeria Railway Corporation, and all of the passengers were taken to safety. However, it has stopped using the rail route.
The event, which occurred less than a month after no less than 20 people were kidnapped from a railway station in Igueben, Edo State, has not yet been assigned a reason. It is thought that the train that was traveling between Warri and Itakpe derailed.
