According to reports, the Department of State Service, DSS, has detained Doyin Okupe, the recently-retired Director General of the Labour Party, at Lagos’ Muritala Mohammed Airport.
On Thursday, Tolu Babaleye, one of his attorneys, posted about this on Facebook.
Okupe, according to him, was traveling to London.
He said that after being found guilty of money laundering by the Federal High Court of Abuja, the DSS requested court records showing that he had chosen the fine payment option.
