After a man believed to be a herbalist apparently died after a sex encounter with a lady also believed to be the pastor’s wife, an occurrence in Ekiti State has sparked conflicting emotions.
According to reports, the middle-aged guy died after collapsing after having many sex sessions with the lady at a hotel in Ikere Ekiti, the administrative center of the Ikere Local Government Area of Ekiti State.
The event happened on Monday, January 2, 2023. The lady was the wife of a clergyman in one of the local churches, according to one of the individuals The PUNCH cited but who wished to remain unnamed.

She said, “The man died in the hotel room while having sex with the woman. The woman raised the alarm after realising that the man had collapsed.
“The manager of the hotel and some residents rushed to the scene and immediately took the man to a nearby hospital where he was confirmed dead.”
Sunday Abutu, the police public relations officer for the Ekiti State Command, confirmed the occurrence and informed the media that an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the man’s death had already been launched.
Abutu said, “We can confirm the death of the man in one of the hotels at Ikere Ekiti on Monday. His corpse has been retrieved and deposited at the morgue.
“We are interrogating the woman in question as we embark on investigations to unravel the cause of the man’s death.”
