After withdrawing himself from the meeting involving All Progressives Congress Northern governors on Monday, Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello is said to be in a closed-door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.
As of the moment, details of the meeting is unknown but there have been speculations that the governor will be discussing with the president on his decisions regarding stepping down or continues to fight for the ticket of the party at the ongoing primaries.
Recall that the North Central state governor, however, was captured on camera angrily leaving the meeting venue. He was heard in the viral video saying he won’t take whatever it is they are offering.
“I won’t take it. I am going to address the press now,” Governor Bello said.
Yahaya Bello is among the 23 presidential aspirants of the APC cleared to contest for the primary of the party.
Despite APC governors from the North resolving that power should shift to the south, Governor Bello was the only governor who disagreed with the development.
