A technocrat and one of the aspirants for the House of Representatives, Aremo Femi Williams, popularly known as Bibire has notified members and leaders in the Lagos All Progressives Congress (APC) of his decision to withdraw from the House of Representatives race in view of the intervention and consultations in the interest of the party.
He explained that this became necessary to clear the air on the recent development and set the records straight.
While thanking members of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), Omooba Muyiwa Sosanya and Omooba Murphy Adetoro for the good advice and roles they have played in his political journey so far, he appealed to all his supporters and party members to rally around the preferred candidate of the party who has contributed and sacrificed a lot to improve party’s fortune in Kosofe Constituency and beyond.

He said:
While I strongly believe that it is only God who gives power, I still remain a firm believer of party supremacy.
He pledged his support to the party to achieve victory at the polls and the re-election of Lagos State governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu in the forthcoming 2023 governorship election.
