A Lagos-based technological firm, Bluechip Technologies Limited, has announced that it is receiving applications for its graduate trainee program, tagged Business Intelligence Trainee Program (BITP).
Bluechip, whose services are dedicated to providing vendor-neutral solutions that bring industry best practices, has a decade-long history of moulding university graduates into industry forces, upon completion of the program.
Featuring standard classroom training, real-life work experience, and on-the-job training, the firm further confirmed that the program will run for six (6) months.
According to Bluechip, BITP course outline covers Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Advanced Analytics, Database Administration, Business Analysis, Project Management and more.
Stating the requirements for the program, Bluechip revealed that interested applicants must possess a First-Class or Second-Class upper in Science, Technology Engineering and Mathematics, while a second degree, it said, may be an advantage.
The tech firm, however, added that not more than two years post-graduation experience is required to apply for the program.
Meanwhile, Bluechip noted that applicants should be equipped with Data Management skillset including a good knowledge of SQL, PLSQL or Information Technology-related courses as it will also be an added advantage.
Furthermore, the company, located in Parkview, Ikoyi, area of Lagos, stressed that proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint, is crucial.
Bluechip opened this year’s application to Kenyans. It said that applicants from the East African country have to be resided in the country if they must stand a chance to participate in the program.
