Ngozi, until her death, was the Chief Legal Officer of Oando Plc, having joined the company as Head, Legal Services of the company in 2009.
According to a tweet from one of her nephews, she battled cancer for a while, recovered before having a relapse in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak.
Speaking about the deceased, Tinubu stated:
Here today and gone tomorrow.
A wonderful soul who was ready for every goal orientated endeavor. She was knowledge, efficiency, competence, diligence and true leadership.
She was what we all hope for in a team member. She was empathy, loyalty, support and trust.
She was someone you wanted by your side when winning was the goal. She was focus, audacity, stealth, presence and persistence.
For 11 years she toiled in ensuring our dreams became reality and did so with a full dose of infectious optimism everyday, despite the odds.
She was excellence.
My prayers remain with her family who lost a wonderful Wife, Mother, Daughter, and Sister.
In the meantime, tributes have begun to pour in for the deceased who was described as someone who has left a big shoe to be filled.
