Popular Nigerian socialite and On-Air Personality, Toke Makinwa, has urged Nigerians to continue to observe the stay-at-home rule as the numbers of coronavirus patients increases.
She shared a photo of herself on Instagram while writing the message to encourage as many who are still faulting lockdown orders by going about their businesses.
Toke stressed that the virus is no more being spread from visitors as it is now communal.
The television host, vlogger, lifestyle entrepreneur and author wrote in part:
Dear you, I am writing to urge you to pls stay home, the numbers are on the rise, the borders are closed, no new flights, no new travel history so it is beginning to look like communal spreading which is much worse and hard to trace.
Nigeria has kept racking up the figure of COVID-19 cases despite the resolve of the governments at all level to rid the country of the scourge.
Nigerian entertainers, like other business owners, are feeling the impact posed by the pandemic as they have been forced to suspend their shows.
