Hon Adedeji Owoeye popularly known as OVO took Ward C3 by surprise today when he stormed the ward with different food items.
It will be recalled that the Governor of Lagos State Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu has warned on the need for people to stay at home in order to minimize people’s contact to avoid the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19)
The items include Rice, Chickens, Semovita, Tomapep and other ingredients for making soup.
In his word, Hon Ovo said it was part of his own contribution to cushion the effect of scarcity of food that has affected many homes as a result of the impending lock down Lagos state might experienced in the coming days.
Among the streets touched were Bambe. Arolahun, Ojewere, Abidogun, Church among others.
“According to Owoeye, this is a duty that we must perform, government cannot do it alone,the support is ongoing as we continue to observe the situation.
I call on well meaning Nigerians to extend their hands of giving in this trying time and advice everyone to stay safe and always wash your hands, I’m positive we shall overcome this pandemic’
Residents in the area thanked Hon Adedeji Owoeye for his kind gesture. They prayed to God to continue to enriched his pocket.
