Afrobeats singer, Seun Kuti, has criticized President Buhari and his government for failing to come up with a plan to help the average Nigerian following the stay-at-home directive given by the government as part of efforts to arrest the spread of Coronavirus.

In a series of tweets, the son of late Afrobeats legend, Fela Kuti, stated that he is baffled that there have been no plans, as a result of this development, to assist Nigerians especially those who have lost their jobs or earn salaries.
According to him, Nigerians should not be fooled by reports that the government lacks funds to battle the pandemic, saying the country has a rich reserve.
The singer added that the government is only mapping out ways to loot the funds and further subject Nigerians to another level of suffering.
