According to a statement released by AMEN’s spokesperson, Maximus Ugwuoke, the Reverend Father called on all Nigerians to put away every form of fear and trust God in this difficult time.
As people all over the world, especially in the country engage in fasting and prayers, Father Mbaka said that God will bring healing to the world.
The statement read in part: “Fr Mbaka enjoins all to continue to keep believing in the healing and miraculous power of God that He has continued to demonstrate among us and increase our faith in the healing blood of Jesus.”
Speaking during a prayer session recently in Enugu, the popular cleric called on Nigerians not to respond to the global pandemic with panic while also noting that fear itself has torment.
Despite the fact that no cure has been found for the virus, Father Mbaka assured Nigerians that God has a solution if only people will call on him in prayer. According to him, the maker of the universe has supremacy over all human affairs and problems.
He stressed that if only Christians will exercise faith in God, all things will be possible to them especially in the face of the global pandemic.
The cleric stated:
“Under the priestly anointing, I release healing to the entire world, particularly where the disease is ravaging so much, let there be healing, let there be sunray always, which is one of the antidotes to the disease. God release drug that will cure it in Jesus name.”
Meanwhile, Nigeria is experiencing a rise in the number of COVID-19 cases. With over forty cases already recorded, the country recorded the first death from the virus on Monday, just as high-profile Nigerians, including the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari, have contracted the disease.
